Filmmakers Drea Cooper, Zackary Canepari and Jessica Dimmock spent two years embedded with the police department in Flint, Michigan. Set in the aftermath of the Flint water crisis, their Netflix series Flint Town reveals the challenges for police officers in an era of highly publicized police shootings and growing public distrust. Over the course of eight episodes, the series examines how Flint struggles with the government's cover-up of water contamination, the erosion of police-town relations, and the tactics police use to raise funds and target neighborhoods with high crime rates. Flint Town premiers on Netflix on March 2.
