Yaakov Katz, editor-in-chief of The Jerusalem Post and a faculty member and lecturer at Harvard University’s Extension School, joins us to discuss his book, The Weapons Wizards: How Israel Became a High Tech Superpower. Katz, and co-author Amir Bohbot, argue that Israel, despite its small area and population of 8 million, is a major player internationally in weapons development. They found that Israel is in the top six globally in terms of arms exports, with annual sales averaging $6.5 billion since 2007. Katz details what this means for the future of Israel, and for other nations around the world.
