TERRY SWEENEY is a prolific writer, executive producer, sketch comedian, and actor, who, in 1985, became the first open gay actor in "Saturday Night Live’s" history. Also a writer for SNL, Sweeney co-wrote the cult southern film SHAG IN 1989, wrote for FOX’S "Mad TV," WB’s sketch show "Hype," and Sci-Fi Channel’s "Tripping the Rift." As an actor, Sweeney has had memorable guest roles on syndicated hit shows like Family Matters and Seinfeld. In 2015, Sweeney released a collection of autobiographical humor essays, entitled, “Irritable Bowels and the People Who Give You Them".
