Radiolab reporters Latif Nasser and Tracie Hunte join Dr. Robin Reineke, Executive Director of the Colibrí Center for Human Rights, to explain how migration routes across the U.S.-Mexico border have changed since 1990, leading to an upsurge in migrant deaths near the Arizona desert. Radiolab's new "Border Trilogy Series" explores this question in depth, traveling from Border Patrol in El Paso to forensics teams in Arizona collecting remains of migrants who perished crossing the desert.
Radiolab will release the first episode of "Border Trilogy" on March 22.
This segment is guest hosted by Cindy Rodriguez.
