Academy Award-nominated director Joe Berlinger joins us to discuss his new documentary “Intent to Destroy,” along with Eric Bogosian who is featured in the film. Berlinger explores how the true horrors of the Armenian Genocide were obscured through diplomatic pressure, Hollywood censorship and a legacy of Turkish suppression. Berlinger also looks at how the Turkish government and its allies have engaged in a century of denial about what happened.
"Intent to Destroy" opens Nov. 10 at the Village East Cinema (189 2nd Ave., between E. 11 and 12th St.).
