Actors Rachel Pickup and John Windsor-Cunningham, and director Charlotte Moore join us to discuss “The Home Place," playing now at the Irish Repertory Theater. Set in Donegal in the summer of 1878, it tells the story of an English landlord and his son, who are both in love with their Irish housekeeper. As they try to navigate the beginnings of the Irish Home Rule Movement, the landlord's cousin comes to town, hoping to prove a science theory about the genetic inferiority of the Irish. "The Home Place" runs at the Irish Repertory Theater (132 West 22nd St., between 6th and 7th Aves.) through Dec. 17.
