The band called Sound Of Ceres plays a dreamy blend of pop and electronic music, inspired by – well, everything, really: the universe, time and space, humanity’s place within it. No wonder their 2016 album is called Nostalgia For Infinity. Karen Hover’s wispy vocals float over cosmic stretches of synthesizer, and the band promises a live visual experience with lasers and fiber optics as well. Sound Of Ceres completes a residency at Alphaville tonight. Their new record, The Twin, comes out in October.
