Rakim is considered by many to be one of the greatest rappers ever. He was, and is now once again, half of the duo Eric B & Rakim, who shot to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. There’s a lot of history in Rakim’s career – the golden age of rap, the high point of the New York style.
