Jesse Berger, Red Bull Theater's artistic director, along with actors Michael Urie and Arnie Burton, join us to chat about their play "The Government Inspector." Based on Nikolai Gogol's 1836 work, the satire follows a provincial village filled with corruption. When its crooked leadership learns that an undercover inspector is coming to investigate their practices, they engage in a cover-up that quickly devolves into a messy affair. "The Government Inspector" is playing now at New World Stages (340 W. 50th St., between 8th and 9th) through Aug.20.
