Tonight, the American Composers Orchestra gets into the act, with a concert featuring one of Steve Reich’s great pieces from the 1980s, called "Tehillim," based on the cantillation or chanting of the Hebrew psalms. "Tehillim," along with works by some of the many younger composers he’s influenced, will be on the program tonight at Carnegie’s Zankel Hall with the American Composers Orchestra.
