Attorney Salaam Bhatti and writer Nusrat Qadir discuss the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC), the self-proclaimed oldest Muslim Community in the U.S. The AMC is an anti-terrorist community that works to create spaces for non-Muslims to engage in conversations with Muslims as a means to tackle Islamophobia. Some of their programs include “Coffee, Cake, and True Islam,” and “Meet a Muslim,” in which members of their youth organization take to the streets wearing signs that read “I’m a Muslim.
