Author and professor Brad Gooch joins us to discuss Rumi’s Secret: The Life of the Sufi Poet of Love, a new biography of the 13th century Persian poet and Sufi mystic. Gooch paints a vivid map of Rumi’s dramatic life as he traveled over 2,500 miles from his birthplace in Central Asia — traveling with his family, displaced during the war — to finally settle in Konya, Turkey.
