Kamasi attracted critical raves for his ambitious triple-album set called, appropriately, The Epic, back in 2015, and he continues to work without regard for the usual genre boundaries. He and the New York-based Afrobeat group known as the Budos Band will be sharing the stage at Brooklyn Bowl tonight.
