Wesley Lowery, a Pulitzer Prize-winning national reporter for The Washington Post, spent a year reporting in cities across the country following the death of Michael Brown in August 2014. Beginning in Ferguson, Missouri, to Cleveland, Ohio; Charleston, South Carolina; and Baltimore, Maryland, and then returning to Ferguson, he reports on life in some of the most heavily policed and racially divided parts of America. In They Can't Kill Us All: Ferguson, Baltimore, and a New Era in America's Racial Justice Movement, he examines the response to Michael Brown's death and the effect of police violence on communities.
Event: Wesley Lowery will be singing books and speaking with New York Times Magazine staff writer Nikole Hannah-Jones at Strand Books at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16th.
