Oscar-winning director Pedro Almodóvar discusses his new film “Julieta” which is based on three short stories from the book Runaway by Alice Munro. The film marks Almodóvar's 20th feature and stars Emma Suárez and Adriana Ugarte as older and younger versions of the film's protagonist, Julieta, who is searching for her estranged daughter. It was featured at the 2016 Cannes, New York and Toronto film festivals, and it has been officially selected by Spain as its 2017 Oscar entry. "Julieta" opens December 21 at the Lincoln Plaza Cinema (1886 Broadway, in the Lincoln Center area between 62nd and 63rd Streets and Broadway) and the Landmark Sunshine Cinema (143 East Houston Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues).
