EVENT: Labyrinth screening with live, indie-twisted soundtrack, Saturday at Shea Stadium When David Bowie passed earlier this year, there was an avalanche of critical appreciation for his admittedly prodigious output. One aspect that maybe got a little less love was the man’s film contributions. Tomorrow night at Shea Stadium in Brooklyn, a number of indie artists are paying tribute to the truly creative -- and bizarre -- Jim Henson film Labyrinth, which Bowie starred in… AND to which he contributed a couple kinda epic dance tunes… Ok, they're not “Heroes,” but songs like “Magic Dance” still have plenty of that Bowie touch.
