The late CHRIS THOMPSON was a film and television creator, writer, and producer. He began in enertainment as an improv actor, founding the still-running Los Angeles improv troupe "Off The Wall", and performed on stage with Robin Williams for nearly a year. He began writing for television with "Blanky's Beauties", before becoming a writer and eventually executive producer for the hit series "Laverne and Shirley". He created and produced "Bosom Buddies" for Paramount Studios, launching Tom Hanks' career, then he wrote two feature films - "Back to the Beach" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash" - as well as created the shows "Action" for FOX and "Ladies' Man" for CBS. He most recently created the hit Disney Channel show "Shake It Up!", and was an executive producer and/or creative consultant for dozens of shows, and created over 20 network tv pilots.
