Richard Jenkins discusses his role in director Guillermo Del Toro’s award-winning film, The Shape of Water. The film is set during the Cold War and tells the story of a worker named Elisa. Elisa works inside of a research facility, and her life changes when she stumbles upon something extraordinary there. Jenkins was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his role as Giles, a commercial artist who lives next door to Elisa. The Shape of Water is playing in New York City theaters through January 18.
